He had in-depth exchanges with colleagues at home and abroad on this topic, and shared the core academic viewpoint of the "Theory of Dove Like Particles": β - amyloid protein is not the cause of Alzheimer's disease, but the remains of abnormal apoptosis of brain cells, and amyloid plaques are formed by the aggregation of amyloid plaques through van der Waals forces and electrostatic attraction; The process of spot and plaque aggregation is like pearls or corals, and physical methods should be the preferred treatment for neurodegenerative diseases.

Since 1984, when β - amyloid protein was purified and isolated from senile plaques, the A β hypothesis has dominated the direction of mainstream neuroscientists worldwide for 35 years. The work based on the A β hypothesis has been extremely difficult, and has even been stagnant for a long time. In 2022, the international authoritative journal "Science" released an investigation report, pointing out that experimental papers on the A β hypothesis were suspected of fraud. Scholars believe that the A β hypothesis has misled researchers for at least 16 years. During the exchange, the attending experts believed that neuroscientists should seek breakthroughs and achievements from a new strategic and academic perspective. They evaluated Sun Zuodong's "Theory of Dove Like Particles" as a new perspective that deciphered the "mystery" of Alzheimer's disease, overturned the A β hypothesis proposed in the "pioneering literature" of Alzheimer's disease, and showed a bright future in solving the thorny problems of Alzheimer's disease.
